1. If there are many complaints or lots of negative feedbacks from parents or Board members, the teacher will be served a notice to be put on 'probation'. Then he or she will need to improve in four class days. Within that period, the Dean of Instruction and VP-Instruction will advise the teacher and audit his/her performance. If no improvement to the satisfactory level is made, the contract will be terminated.
2. If a teacher violates any of the BCS rules or any established laws, termination may be done immediately, if there are consensus among Principal, VP-Instruction, Dean of Instruction and Dean of Human Resource. The teacher may file a petition to the Board to reverse the termination, any decision made by the Board is final. and will be put in writing and files with the HR Dept.
3. The contract may be terminated by the teacher with a letter submitted to the Dean of Instruction or Dean of HR. A 30-day notice is required. |
