Description |
Other than the Culture Curriculum and before the summer starts, the Deans of Mandarin and Cantonese Curriculum ask each returning teacher which grade the teacher is interested in teaching the following year. Based on teacher's preferences and the number of offered classes, the Dean will assign teachers to next year's classes. |

Some teachers may want a grade change after teaching the same grade for several years. Some teachers may wish to always stay in the same grade or lower grades. Deans usually try to match the class with the teacher's wish.
In BCS, a tradition/custom is not to assign a teacher to the same class of students for more than two years. If there are sufficient parents' complaints during the year, it is advised to replace the teacher.
Before the teacher-class list is finalized, keep it confidential to parents and teachers so that inappropriate petition change will not occur. |
