Description |
BCS has a cooperative program with seven local school districts to offer BCS students attending their high schools credits for their work in BCS.
The interested students must get the application forms in BCS and have their high school VP signed to approve the credit application. Then take regular Mandarin or Cantonese course, plus independent study or Chinese-culture related culture class in BCS, pass the Chinese performance test conducted in BCS at the end of the school year, and receive 5 (East High School Union School District) or 10 (other six school districts) credits in that school year.
There are four levels of Chinese exams and a student may receive up to 40 credits in four years.
For detail, see Guideline of the Credit Recognition program. |
