Every year around Chinese New Year time (mid February), BCS celebrates the Chinese New Year. We performed a short program for our kids. We arranged to have a lion dance, a tradition dated well back in the Chinese culture. Legend has it that to celebrate the New Year, we need to pay tribute by hosting a street carnival with fireworks, parade and lion dance to celebrate New year.
