Memos were circulated as informal notes in the early days to our student body. As the student enrollment increased over the years, we saw a need to have a better way to communicate with our students and parents. In 1991, Ming-Hing Tsang, then School Principal, started the first official Newsletter. Items included Principal's column, teachers introduction, choir, sports and everything we could think of and other news. It was a bilingual publication with typed English and hand written Chinese because of the lack of man power and time. That issue had 6 pages.
At present, the advance of desk top publishing helps tremendously in generating Newsletter. The circulation of the Newsletter began as a quarterly publication. It was changed to monthly, biweekly and in the 1999-2000 school year, we started to circulate the Newsletter as a weekly publication.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank and acknowledge the tremendous help from Technology Printing for providing all the printing needs for the School. Over the years, Diana Kua and her crew, Catherine and Monica at Technology Printing, provides timely delivery of everything the School needs, from memos, year book and functions. Lucy Huang, Fook Wong have been instrumental in being the editiors to the Newsletter. Diana Kua also doubles as the Campus Manager of the Piedmont campus and a member of the Board of Directors for many years.
