| Since the Berryessa Chinese School (BCS) is a non-profit organization with the Board of Directors elected from the general membership, all Board members are non-salaried. It is becoming a challenge to recruit enthusiastic parents to serve the BCS Board. By April each year, upon the approval of the Board, the Secretary will form a Nomination Committee comprised of Board members and parents The Secretary of the Board shall serve as Chairperson of the committee. The number of members is at the discretion of the Board.
The Nomination Committee will compile a list of candidates to be presented to and elected by the General Membership at the General Meeting in or before June. Nominations from the floor will be accepted. Ballots will be counted and the results announced the same day of the General Election. |
