Singapore Private Mass Transit

Singapore has an advanced land transportaton system which includes the subways, busses, taxis and an encompassing road and highway system. However Singapore also has a unique "private mass transit" system where some factory or construction related workers were transported to and from work in company vehicles. They were not housed inside a bus but usually at the back of an open truck.

Some of the riders were construction workers. They squatted or sat on the flat bed or wherever they could get themselves settled in. The others were factory workers identified by their uniforms or attires. They usually would sat on lawn chairs on the flat bed. Seatbelts probably were not provided.
