The Berryessa Chinese School is one of the largest Chinese schools in the United States of America. In recognition of this monumental achievement, the Mayor of San Jose has written a letter of gratitude for our services to the community beyond the classroom. In keeping with this note, this year's performances will include dancers from the Kun-Shin Dance Academy, a Martial Arts demonstration by SiFu Meng's Kung Fu Academy, and magic tricks and acrobatics from Ying-Ying Chu and much more. This year's event will be held at San Jose State's Morris Dailey Auditorium on March 21, 1999. Tickets for this event will be available for purchase for $5.00 at the door. Seating will begin at 1:45 PM, and the program will start promptly at 2:00 PM. For more information on how to get to the auditorium, see the enclosed maps. |
We would like to thank The Art Commission of the City of San Jose, the Chinese Student Association of SJSU, San Jose State University, the Board of Directors of Berryessa Chinese School, and the Parents, Teachers, Students and Volunteers of BCS for making this event possible.
