March 21, 1999 Dear Friends, On behalf of the citizens of San Jose and my colleagues on the City Council, it gives me great pleasure to congratulate the Berryessa Chinese School on the production of the annual Spring Performance. Thank you for providing cultural education to the citizens of San Jose for the past twenty years. The celebration of our unique cultures is vital to maintaining San Jose's vibrant diversity. I would like to extend special congratulations to the organizers, artists, and boardmembers of the Berryessa Chinese School for making this wonderful event possible.
